My Story

My name is Ethan Crowder and I am a Video Editor, Photographer, and Producer in North Carolina. My passion for story telling began at Liberty University where I earned my undergraduate degree in communications with a focus on video production. After college, my desire to tell stories continued overseas in Africa where I spent three years as a video producer and journalist for the IMB. During my time there, I covered a range of stories including human trafficking, President Obama's first visit to Africa, the 2010 FIFA world cup, and missionary interest stories. I was stationed in South Africa but spent my time traveling the continent and conducting interviews both in the field and in studios. Once my time was up, I returned to the states where I did some freelance work for a retreat center and camp in Pennsylvania. My next journey took me to North Carolina where I started pursuing my master's degree at Southeastern Seminary and working for their media department. During my time here I mainly filmed and edited MOOC classes for the college and provided media support for live events at the school. I am currently working in customer service and as a freelance videographer on the side while serving at my church on their media team. In the meantime, I am refining my skills and learning new editing and filming techniques. My desire to tell stories and passion for the media field continues to grow and I await the next adventure God has planned for me. â€‹
